The Pro-Touch Movement, Founded and Sponsored by Face The World in 2018, is all about the promotion and sharing of positive touch across a wide range of settings and for all ages and abilities – something so incredibly important in our current touch-starved world. The campaign includes National Massage Day (1st of October each year) and Pro-Touch Awareness Month (every October).
We are campaigning to bring consensual touch (touch with consent) to all those who need it most, raising awareness of our wonderful touch therapies by celebrating around the globe via local fundraising, volunteering - and touching the lives of others with acts of kindness, where physical touch may not be possible.

Our Ambassadors are extremely special people and are so important as we safely navigate our way out of the lingering pandemic. We all know that touch can come in many forms – in our working lives as well-being therapist practitioners, nurses, teachers, carers – and in our everyday lives with friends, family, our companion animals and yes, to ourselves.
This is your chance to join others in celebrating the benefits of sharing respectful, positive touch.

We have merged websites with our Founders and Sponsors, Face The World – housing everything within one roof for the first time. This helps keep our costs to a minimum (so more to good causes!), streamlines activities and provides a much easier experience for our wonderful supporters. We want to take this opportunity to say “thank you” – so many have followed us on our amazing journey since we launched our vegan, ethical skincare brand and (now award-winning) massage training school back in October 2011.

We are also delighted to have founded the UK Volunteer Therapists' Hub! This started as a facebook group in 2015 - and now has over 1900 UK therapist members. We aim to match volunteers with charities and organisations local to them, that need their services the most.
